PULUT INTI
PULUT INTI
recipe by mummy cha
ING.
2 cups of glutinous rice
31/2 cups of water
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp cooking oil
salt to taste
METHODS
wash rice
then combine other ing
cook with rice cooker till done
FILLING (inti)
1/2 coconut grated
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar - can reduce if it too sweet for you
1pc screwpine leaf (pandan leaf) - knot
2 tbsp glutinous flour
METHODS
in a pan add brown sugar and sugar
add in some water & pandan leaf - let it boil
add in coconut grated - mix well and continue stir
then sprinkle glutinous flour and continue stiring
the mixture will be sticky and thick also sweet too...
put aside to let it cold
authentically we wrap some glutinous rice & a spoonful of "inti" to the centre of the rice, in the banana leaf
but this time my little sis used small cup to mould the rice.
spoon inti to the small cup
press it.
then in the glutinous rice
press it harder
and it done!!
